News: Death Row Records Up For Sale

Death Row Records is up for sale and Koch records is in the running. There are two companies that will be battling it out for the
household name. Even though Death Row has diminished in popularity the past couple of years it is still brand that people recognize and they still created one of the most powerful rap artists in the world 2Pac. Thats where the value of this sale comes in. The other company is Evergreen Copyrights. The deal remains stalled though because of Dr. Dre and Afeni Shakur. Dre says he is owed money from the Chronic and Afeni wants to know who actually owns the rights to 2Pacs songs. Until these issues are resolved the sale will be up in the air.
