Mobb Deep rapper and G-Unit affiliate Prodigy is suing Vox Music Group for allegedly failing to pay him more than $30,000 and plunging his family into foreclosure.

Prodigy says Vox Music Group agreed in August 2007 to pay him $10,300 a month but that it has missed three payments and failed to give him a semiannual royalty accounting statement.

"These breaches . . . have put Prodigy's family in financial peril," say documents filed last week in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Prodigy, who suffers from sickle-cell anemia and is serving a 3½-year term for gun possession, is also asking that the agreement be terminated.

Bu responds to T-Pain's father and says all allegations are totally false. He was also quoted as saying if he sold T-Pain dreams then all of his dreams have been fufilled. Also, he said that they signed T-Pain 6 years ago so why wait till now to come out and say something, clearly its about money. Bu is responding to comments made by T-Pains father that he was tricked out of an agreement with T-Pain for management.

Someone traveling with Flo-Rida allegedly brutally killed a rabbit witnesses say. The two men stepped off of Flo-Rida's tour bus and killed the rabbit and then returned to the bus. Police are currently investigating what happened and seek the two men for questioning.

When I heard about Boszy I was like hip hop in Bosnia? I listened and said, dam she fine and she makes good music. This is definitely different even though she goes hard on the autotune but who doesn't. One of my favorite songs is "Stay High". Boszy gives a clear explanation of why she stays high and it gets pretty entertaining. I also heard a track produced by Tone Capone. For those that want some nice pics to look at you will enjoy her myspace but it seems like she is carving a niche in an industry where everyone is the same. Check here myspace page here.

Shaheed Najm T-Pain's father allegedly says Akon is a shady business man. Najm claims that among other things that Akon turned his son T-Pain against him. He also says that T-Pain said that his father tried to get $250,000 out of him for old management services. Najm also says that he would slap Akon if he was to see him but respect his son when he is in town. Najm also says that Akon and his brother Bu made up lies that led to him losing his management agreement with his son. Wow, does money do this to families?

I remember when my boy put me up on MF Doom a couple of years ago, I was like what is this dude on. Then I actually listened to his lyrics and I was amazed. Being a big fan of Dip Set, I guess you would expect me to rank Jim Jones album pretty high and your right but at least I told you the truth. I can't listen to many albums that are out right now but this one has some great production and the hooks and melodies help to create what I would say is a great album. Many thought is was over for Maino after "Hi Hater" slowed down. Now, he has another hit and many people are saying you might have to get used to this dude. Maino has been grinding for a long time and you can research his struggle online or on youtube. You can see his fights and beefs and understand why he is making a change in his image. He exclusively told SPATE magazine that he wants to change his image because it eventually takes toll on advertising dollars and money in your pocket. He broke it down to us how he basically lost a major endorsement because a company did research on him a they came to the conclusion he was too violent for them. What ever happened to standing by your man when he is down? Well it seems that Dame Dash owes 2 million in taxes and seems to have other financial difficulties and also his wife files for divorce under "nonmonetary relief". Doesn't someone file this to an employer? Is she saying that she was employed by Dame Dash? Someone help with this one because I'm not understanding.

We hear that Death Row is making a comeback this year. If you didn't know that label was sold for 18 million. Death Row will be releasing records in partnership with E1 Entertainment formally known as Koch records. You can look forward to hearing unreleased albums for Crooked I and more.

Hip-Hop duo Blazhay Blazhay have sued former Fugees star Wyclef Jean for alleged illegal use of their memorable hit “Danger.” They claim that Wyclef violated the copyright of the song. No telling how much money they are seeking though.

The police have confirmed that Trick Trick was shot. Members of Tricks camp have repeatedly denied that it was him that got shot but police confirmed that it was indeed local rapper Trick Trick. I hope that his team is correct and he didn't get shot but they say the injuries are minor and he will recover.

Oh man Joaquin phoenix enters the world of hip hop. I really can't say that I have seen any of his movies but he certainly does not look like a rapper. I guess that's why he changed his look by growing in a beard and changing his style. If he can pull this one off I will be amazed. Then you know anything is possible in the world of music. I'm interested in see this story unfold. I hear he is also filming a documentary about his changing of careers. Oh wait I did see one of his movies Johnny Cash and he was great in the movie I might add. Two felony charges have been brought up on Chris Brown.
The singer made an appearance in the Los Angeles Superior Court earlier today for arraignment on charges of felony assault and making criminal threats.


Brown’s arraignment has been postponed by a mutual request of his attorney and the city’s District Attorney until April 6th.

The charges of course stem from the pimp slapping incident with Rihanna.

Georgia Superior Court Judge Michael Johnson has dropped charges against Lil Wayne.



Wayne (Dwayne Carter) was arrested in August 2006 at the Twelve Hotel. A police search allegedly revealed unnamed bottles holding the drugs hydrocodone and Xanas.
The judge agreed that it was an illegal search and Wayne wasn't present at the time of the search.
